Course Detail
Runners start on the Mt. Hood Meadows Sun Deck, then depart on the gravel service road to wrap around to the front of the Mt. Hood Meadows lodge, behind Sahale Lodge, then follow a short connector trail to Umbrella Trail. Climbing Umbrella Trail for 1 mile, the trail veers right onto the Timberline Trail and follows it for 1.25 miles. The Umbrella Trail and Timberline Trail travel through some beautiful wildflower meadows and cross multiple small springs and glacier-fed streams (all are easy hop-over crossings). Runners turn right off of the Timberline Trail to a short connector to reach the top of the Stadium ski lift, then turn right down a short gravel service road straight onto another trail, descending the remaining 1.5 miles of the course on an amazing rolling downhill through a mix of meadows and forest, before the final descent to Mt. Hood Meadows (yes, you will hear and see us cheering for you!). Runners finish at the lodge Sun Deck under the summit of the mountain with friends and family!
