Series Overview
Welcome to the Oregon Coast Trail Series, featuring our trio of trail running events along the surf, capes, dunes, forests and villages of Oregon’s world-renown central coastline! Each of the three events offers a 50K ultra distance option and shorter race options ranging from 10K-20 miles.
To participate in and complete the OCT Series, a runner needs to finish a race at each of the three events in the series. All OCT Series finishers receive a commemorative award, plus additional prizes for top series finishers. We hope you can join us for an exciting trail series tour along Oregon’s scenic shores!

Scoring
Participants must get a finish at ALL THREE EVENTS to complete the series and be eligible for OCT Series placement and awards.
A runner’s placement in the final series standings is determined by the cumulative sum of their overall mileage, then the sum of their finish times from all three races. The runner with the most distance completed wins. In the event of a mileage tie, runners are then ranked based on fastest accumulated finish time of their three finishes.
Men’s and women’s results are separate.
As OCT Series participation grows, we may create an ‘ultra’ division and a ‘sub ultra’ division.
Awards
Everyone who completes a race in all three OCT series events in the same calendar year receives a custom Oregon Coast Trail Series t-shirt and pint glass after finishing the final race in the series.
