Join us and Backcountry Rise presenting sponsor NIKE TRAIL for a shoe demo and Backcountry Rise course preview! Meet us at Coldwater Lake Picnic Area to try on some shoes for the group run. We’ll review our two route options then head out!

There will be two run distances:

• Run Option 1: the classic 12 mile clockwise loop around Coldwater Lake (most of the Backcountry Rise Half Marathon).

• Run Option 2: a 17.5ish mile loop around Coldwater Lake that does an out n back up toward Coldwater Peak (much of the B Rise 20 miler). This route option will turn around to complete the Coldwater Lake loop once they hit snow.
